Bio:
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. I also earned a graduate degree in Information Systems from Carlson and my MBA from Minnesota State in Mankato. I started playing golf at the age of 6 at Long Prairie Country Club. I have enjoyed this game ever since even though most years I play less than 10 times. Currently spend more time working on our two golf courses than playing. My work career spans 48 years starting at the Army Corps Engineers before leaving to join the corporate staff of a Fortune 500 company for three years and have been a serial Entrepreneur since. Areas of businesses include software, investment and real estate. I'm an investor and work with my family in Klick Companies.
Why am I doing this?:
The purpose of HOPE rings well with me. Golf has taught me a lot. It has helped me in business and social situations and given me life long lessons. We need to make golf better than what it was. It must include everyone, make everyone feel comfortable and be a lifetime activity. For a period, it was judged only for the select few or those of a certain ability. It can no longer be that. All mankind should be able to participate and benefit from this wonderful game. Those who have been left out must now be included and welcomed.
