I loved the game of golf growing up. I never played high school or college golf competitively. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Communications. After working for the last two summers of college at Faribault Country Club, I decided to start my career in the golf business. I worked at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. for two years, then moved back to Minnesota. After four years at Windsong Farm Golf Club, I accepted the Head Professional position at Minnewaska Golf Club. This year marks my eighth season. My awesome membership, board of directors, and family are very supportive of my playing career. I play 25 events a year and love to play tournament golf.
Why am I doing this?
I participated in the event last year and it was a blast. I hope to play every year going forward. It's an unbelievable cause and the funds we raise for PGA HOPE can work wonders. I want to support our veterans and playing 100 holes is the least I can do. Let's raise some money and awareness!
